The Greenwood Little League Football program known as the "Pittbulls" began in the mid to late 1980's. It is for grades 1-6, participants must attend Greenwood Schools. Currently the program is comprised of 10 teams, 2 teams in each grade level with one Blue team and one White team. Teams are originated thru a "draft" system and once they are placed on a "squad" they will remain on that "squad" thru 6th grade. No changing between teams is allowed once placed on a team.

Former Bulldog Varsity head coach Rick Jones calls the Pittbull program, "The foundation of our program here at Greenwood."
